It is your responsibility to apply for and obtain the appropriate visa, if required, before travel. If you are required to apply for and obtain a visa to enter the Republic of Ireland, you should do so before travelling.

Unfortunately, the University’s Immigration Support Service cannot advise regarding visas for the Republic of Ireland as we are only able to advise regarding study visas for the United Kingdom. If you want to enter the Republic of Ireland, you may require a visa. Follow the instructions on the Irish Immigration Service website to check if you need a visa and to apply for a visa to travel to the Republic of Ireland.
