Ready to go from couch to 5K? Join our fun 10-week programme designed to boost your running stamina as part of a weekly social running group! With the help of our enthusiastic volunteers and a weekly session plan to follow at home, you'll be crossing that 5K finish line in no time. This programme is open to QUB staff, students, and the entire community. Let’s get moving together!

Facilities at the PEC include changing rooms with showers and lockers. To use a locker, you’ll need a £1 coin, which will be returned when you re-open your locker.
For hydration, you will find vending machines offering bottled water and also from our inhouse cafe Clements. There are also water fountains near Degree's Fitness where you can refill your sports bottle.
First Aid services are available within the PEC.
Important: In order to participate, we need a recent Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire on file. If you have not previously completed a PARQ with Active campus, please complete the 2 minute PARQ Form as soon as you can!
