New Year 2027

A one-day workshop on Saturday 20 March from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

There are those who believe that the Irish Language and Gaelic culture belong to only one community. The aim of this course is to correct misconceptions and to inform people of the long history of Ulster Protestants with Gaelic culture. This will be done through History in general, the history of prominent individuals in the movement, Placenames, Surnames and Street Name, music, dancing and the links that all of these have to Scotland. It will be interactive and discussion is welcomed.

This class will take place on QUB campus
