10 weekly sessions on Tuesdays 10.00 am to 12.00 noon starting 29 September (Two 2-hour walking tours on 20 October and 17 November, the remaining classes are classroom based)

The development of the Belfast region from its geological foundation, geomorphological shaping and the human impact from pre-history to the present. A study of the forces and actions involved in the creation of the region’s landscape and human palimpsest. The course consists of two parts - the development of A) the physical and B) the human landscape.

This class will take place on QUB campus
