Autumn 2026

10 weekly sessions on Mondays 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm, starting 28 September

Daoyin, which means to guide and stretch, is a range of movements and exercises that aim to stretch the body and guide the Lifeforce, Qi (Chi), and Blood around the body to promote health and wellbeing. This term, we will follow a series of movements such as "Crane Dancing" and "Wild Goose Flying", which are taken from manuscripts and drawings dating back 2000 years, which were excavated in the 1970s in Mawangdui in southern China. Although these movements are not overly strenuous, they can help the body become more flexible and stronger and help us feel better both physically and mentally. Each class finishes with a short meditation. Queries contact [email protected]
