New Year 2027

5 weekly sessions on Fridays starting 5 March: the first week is classroom-based, running from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, and the remaining 4 weeks are field trips, running between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon.

Winter wildfowl and waders have been enjoying our lakes and loughs. Some will be getting new feathers to get ready for the return journey back to their northern breeding grounds. Also, thrushes and warblers will soon be on the move. Walking boots, warm clothing plus own transport is essential and, if possible, binoculars. A timetable will be distributed on the first evening.

No classes on Friday, 26th March and 2nd April
