Autumn 2025

10 weekly sessions on Wednesdays 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm, starting 24 September

Everyone has a story to tell. Most of us have many. This course is for anyone interested in exploring the art of storytelling through creative nonfiction writing, specifically life writing/memoir. During this course, participants will develop a sense of trust and community as they explore examples of life writing; learn about techniques for crafting their story; respond to writing prompts; and practise giving and receiving kind and helpful feedback. Those interested will have the opportunity to prepare a 700–800-word piece to submit for possible publication on RTÉ's Sunday Miscellany radio programme. All levels of experience are welcome! You never know the impact that sharing your story may have on you or another person.

This class will take place on QUB campus
