New Year 2026

One-day workshop on Saturday 21 March 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

Do you volunteer with organisations supporting people seeking asylum? Want to know how government addresses their needs? This session provides an advanced but practical overview of the asylum system in the UK including NI, including understanding destitution, positive decisions and what happens when people are refused. We'll meet people who work with and volunteer to support people and see how organisations have adapted to community changes over the past three years. We'll talk with volunteers, professionals and those doing everyday outreach throughout the province.

These classes will take place on QUB campus
