10 weekly sessions on Tuesdays 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, starting 23 September

This course will examine a selection of contemporary American novels as suggested by previous students. Texts will include Dream Count by Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, Plainsong by Kent Haruf, Ragtime by E.L. Doctorow, One Thousand Acres by Jane Smiley and The Underground Railroad by Coulson Whitehead.

This class will take place on QUB campus
