A biographical history of the most influential conqueror of Europe of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, including an examination of his life, relationships, campaigns and political career. Hated by Britain, and eventually defeated by a massive alliance, Napoleon nevertheless had an extraordinary impact on the development of modern Europe. This is his story.
