This is a course for those who have made or are interested in making Stockmarket investments but have limited knowledge of how the Stockmarket works. It is a practical course. It looks at the structure of the London Stock Market and how shares are priced. Students will enhance their knowledge of gilts, corporate loan notes, collective investments such as unit trusts and capital investment bonds and shares. Time is spent on understanding how to read The Financial Times.
